RECIRCULATING AQUACULTURE SYSTEMS

HATCHERY MODULE
STANDARD MODULE (M3)

Our fish farming modules are the result of over 30 years of experience in the practical operation of various recirculating systems and in the precise analysis of trends in fish farming and production, in the energy sector and not least in the area of availability of water.

The energy demand is reduced to a minimum (a single mechanical drive - pump - provides the optimum activity of all necessary processes in a recirculating system). Due to the modular design, the system can be used with freshwater and saltwater.

They are especially suited for individual, regional solutions for breeding of demanding fish and can be easily combined with aquaponics system. Their handling is easy, because there is no complicated technology. They are characterized by low running costs and by low operating and maintenance costs. The latest monitoring and control technology guarantees an optimal operation as well as a maximum production safety of the facility. The modules can vary and thus be aligned on your specific needs.

Variable module with individual sizing according to the specifications of the client.

There are no control and monitoring components there, thay must be ordered extra. It is important to know how many modules your fish farm would consist of. Standardmodul Standardmodul Standardmodul

PRODUCTION VOLUME

Possible production volume of the modules

Module Funktion Tank Water quantity Stocking Feed Feed quantity
M0 Hatchery 2 Gutters
3 routd tanks
entire 2,4m³ each gutter ca. 100000 brood
20kg/m³ (depending on species)
48kg/2,4m³ fish:
- 1g/fish ⇒ 48000 pc.
- 2g/fish ⇒ 24000 pc.
ca 3% 1,44kg/day
M1 Breeding 4 Tanks entire 12m³ 30kg/m³ (depending on species)
360kg/12m³ fish:
- 10g/fish ⇒ 36000 pc.
- 12g/fish ⇒ 30000 pc.
- 15g/fish ⇒ 24000 pc.
ca.1% 3,6kg/day
M2 Fattening 4 Tanks entire 26m³ 80kg/m³ (depending on species)
1920kg/26m³ fish:

The maximum number of fish (stocking) depends on the species and can be increased even further by experienced operators.

ADVANTAGES

  • Solid technology, only one mechanical drive (circulation pump)
  • Favourable proportion of productive to non-productive volume (90% to 10 %)
  • Maximum use of the trickling filter volume due to the advanced solution of water distribution
  • Maximum functional reliability due to the latest control and alarm system
  • Low maintenance and operation costs

COMPONENTS

Tanks

Round tanks, streamlined breeding tanks of GRP, PP or PE. The round tanks are self-cleaning.

Mechanical filter

Three-piece (brush system), dirt sedimentation by extreme reduction of the flow.

Biological filter

One-piece or multipiece, even and discontinuous admission flow ensures maximum utilization of the entire trickling filter surface, long sojourn time of the water, oxygenation and degassing due to counterflow process.

Pumps

Two pumps, ceramic bearing, soft start, long life.

Oxygen supply system

Permanent supply tied with automatcal oxygen supply due to index value, emergency oxygen supply

Control and alarm system

SteuerungControl of the relevant water parameters (water temperature, flow, oxygen, pH-value), oxygen control, data remote request, remote control and remote maintenance possible, informs the operator when setpoint value exceeding or falling and in case of pump/power failure, data storage, feeding and inventory management.

Energy efficiency / nutrient utilization

The relatively low energy requirements of the modules allows an individual solution for your own power supply (e.g. of photovoltaics or for electricity and heat via a cogeneration unit).

The resulting nutrients can be used to operate for an aquaponic system or for a mini biogas plant (gas for heating).

In this way you can operate your modules self-sufficient and independent.

So we can offer you in cooperation with our expert partners efficient solutions. So you can make your own contribution to a reasonable energy transition.

Conditions for the establishment of a aquaculture system are: fresh water supply (tap water system or spring), wastewater disposal (due to the chemical and biological nature and the high water content,

it is usually possible to discharge the waste water into the waste water system, it is also usible for an aquaponics), electricity supply, heating and air conditioning.

FISH SPECIES

Our modules are especially suited for breeding of demanding and well-known throughout the region fish, that can be marketed directly in the region. In this context, we want to set us apart from the intensive fish farming, standing under extreme international price pressure. The demand for many regional fish species

(e.g. pikeperch, perch, cisco, burbot) exceeds the offer, that can not be coverd due to declining catches in lakes. This also includes the breeding of fish species such as salmon, sea trout, huchen or barbel, those play an important part for the renaturation, resettlement or also for attractive angling waters.
